EnglishTemporary residence card (TRC) is issued by the Immigration Department of Vietnam, permitting foreign citizens to temporarily reside and work in Vietnam for a period from 01 year to 03 years and a maximum of 5 years.
With a temporary residence card, foreigners' relatives (spouse, children) can enter and exit Vietnam in multiple entries during the term of the temporary residence card without having to proceed with Vietnam visa extension.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR FOREIGNERS' RELATIVES (SPOUSE)
• Certificate of marriage in Vietnam (Certified copy) or Note of marriage in Vietnam (Certified copy of Consular Legalization for overseas marriage registration);
• Application for guarantee and issuance of temporary residence card for foreigners (Form NA7);
• Application form for temporary residence card for foreigners (Form NA8);
• Original passport and visa (passport valid for at least 13 months and visa to enter Vietnam for the right purpose);
• A certified copy of the Vietnamese household registration book of the spouse who is Vietnamese;
• Certified copy of ID card of spouse who is Vietnamese;
SERVICE ORDER OF APPLYING FOR TEMPORARY RESIDENCE CARD FOR FOREIGNER’S RELATIVES
Step 1: Prepare documents for application as prescribed by the law;
Step 2: Submit the application at the headquarters of the Immigration Department - Ministry of Public Security
After checking the documents (valid and complete), the receiving officer will hand over the receipt to the person submitting the application (Form NB7).
Step 3: Receive the results within 05 working days, investor comes to receive the results, give a receipt, ID card or passport to the officer who returns the results for inspection and comparison. If there is a result of granting a temporary residence card, and he shall pay the fee, then sign and hand over the temporary residence card to the person who comes to receive the result.
