EnglishIn concept, Vietnamese visa is a document stating the certification on the passport granted by Vietnamese competent authorities to foreigners who are allowed to enter Vietnam. Temporary resident card is a document granted by the Immigration Department or a competent authority of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to a foreigner who is permmited to reside in Vietnam for a certain period of time and will be valid in lieu of a visa.
However, there are also differences between Vietnamese Visa and Temporary Residence Card that need to be construed as follows:
