I am a research doctor in Slavic studies and Ural-Altaic philology. Member of AIS (Italian Slavists Association). Native languages: Italian and Russian. My academic career provided me with a solid knowledge of slavic languages (apart from Russian, I master Serbo-Croatian, Ukrainian, Slovak) and several turkic idioms (Anatolian Turkish, Azeri, Crimean and Kazan' Tatar). Additionally, I gained a thorough grasp of dimothiki (Modern Greek) while completing my course in Byzantine Studies, with the intention of enhancing my expertise in Russian Medieval Literature. Finally, I have worked as a Latin teacher in private colleges for several years, which has given me a deep knowledge of this language. I've been working as a freelance translator since 2004, therefore I can deem myself quite skilled in such a field. Being a highly responsible and qualified linguist, I firmly believe that any translated text has to flow and fit the culture of the language as well as the target audience it is written and translated for. Despite the initial humanistic background, over the years of my activity as a freelancer I have developed a profound competence in other fields (corporative marketing, technology, e-commerce, traditional finance, trading, cryptos, medicine, law, bureaucratic sector).
